Additionally, the Bank belongs to the:

  • Independent Community Bankers Association

We were also the Volume Buyer for the San Miguel/Mora County Fair Youth Auction for over a decade now. We also support the Harding County and the Guadalupe County fairs as well. These fairs promotes the value of farming and ranching to the youth of these communities.

The Community 1st Kid Care Project

Each year we go to the schools, to community events, and we also lend our equipment and materials to other groups in order to fingerprint and photograph the children of our community. We have been doing this for over a decade now and have, to date, had over 9,000 children participate.

These Booklets are then kept by the schools or the parents in order to help law enforcement in the event of a lost or stolen child.

We know that our children are the greatest asset a bank, or a community, has and we strive to keep them safe.

We also have the "Putting our Community First Grant" that has benefited hundreds of non-profit groups by funding them with our grant of $20,000 to $25,000 annually. To date, over $100,000 has been provided to these non-profit that help the communities we service and live in. No other financial institution can match what we do for Mora, Guadalupe, Harding and San Miguel counties.

The Bank, and the community, has benefited greatly from the leadership and inspiration of the Litherland's. The majority shareholders of the Bank, the Litherlands have donated both time and money generously over the years to our community. They have been at the forefront of many issues involving the arts and business in Las Vegas and our surrounding area. They truly "Put their money where their mouth is"!
